A few ideas to shore up the Red Sox

Impact, good value, bang for your buck.

These are some of the terms you’ll be hearing from the Red Sox over the next couple of months. This rebuilding process could be longer or shorter, depending on what the Sox do and how they go about doing it.

Thank god Nick Cafardo is not a member of the Sox front office.  We would continue to learn the same lessons over and over again.

Bring back Tim Wakefield!! Besides, you don't have any other players on this team anyway!!

No thanks to Swisher and Upton. Swisher's numbers is a product of that ridiculously short right field porch in Yankee stadium. Also don't want that guy anywhere near a postseason game. What a gag artist. BJ Upton is an underachieving headcase. NO THANK YOU!!!!! Interesting how none of the starting pitchers contacted Bobby Valentine after he was fired. I'm really starting to revile Jon Lester and Clay Buchholz but especially Lester. More convinced than ever that Beckett's little puppy dog is a poison on that team.

Don't forget to trade away any minor league prospects that show promise.

Nick Swisher is a major A hole who is NOT a clutch hitter. The guy cannot hit in the post season. During the regular season he is just a compiler getting fat off mediocre pitching and surrounded by good hitters in the NYY lineup. As a regular fielder in Fenway's right field, he would be a disaster. His smirks and lizard tongue would be impossible for me to watch on a regular basis. I can't stand the guy! He does NOT belong on the Red Sox!

A number three or four hitter is a dire need.  But, MAUER is so wrong. No power, high salary and injury prone.  A Giancarlo Stanton or Tulowitzki would be better choices.  Bring back Ortiz by all means but he is at the age where his body may limit games played.  In next one to two years, they NEED a three AND four hitter unless Middlebrooks becomes one.  And no....Pedroia does not fill that bill.

Their next biggest

Second or even first need is for stopper....Price is best choice.  The others are motly fillers and GREINKE won't come here.JJ is a failure in Miami and is not the answer.  BJ UPTON is a mistake if you do go Back to OBP. Be patient. This  is a two year rebuild with Alisha and Bradey close.
