Who in the name of Yogi Bear were the idiots that thought up the current silly set of Overtime Rules for National Football League games? A field goal does not breeak a tie to win, unless there are two of them, yet a fumble and take over by the opponent team does both win a game and end it. A fumble and recovery by the opponents is equal to a touchdown? There is no question that the NFL fan mobs need to do huge waves at the next five stadia where these idiotic rules are put into practice like they were yesterday during the Patriots-Jets contest. Yeah, the Pats won . . . under that stupid fumble recovery fiasco, but it was not a win by winning, but merely by a technicality.
