Patriots offense thrives by getting back to basics

LONDON — Staring a 3-4 record and an embarrassing home loss to the injury-ravaged Jets in the face, the Patriots put their season in the hands in which it should always be, those of quarterback Tom Brady.

The Patriots and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels must have liked what they saw, because they came out the same way against the Rams. And, boy, did it work in a 45-7 thrashing at Wembley Stadium Sunday.

WOW, is CSNNE on top of things or what? Let's see, the Patriots win 45-7. They begin the game WITHOUT their starting two safetys, lose one of their starting CB,s early into the game, leave Hernandez and Mankins (TWO OF THE TOP 50 PLAYERS IN THE LEAGUE), at home, and crush the Rams. Before the game, Felger predicted the Patriots would be SOUNDLY BEATEN, with Toni Maz's knee jerk assent, and all Felger, Bellichick hater Ty Law and a person Patriots fans used to love, TILL GETTING PAID BECAME MORE IMPORTANT THAN OBJECTIVE COMMENTARY, that's Troy Brown could talk about was how bad the Rams were. (the team the three of them predicted would beat up on the Patriots) The Rams beat the Cards and the Seahawks, are much better that the Jets (Bradford vs Sanchez)and the Patriots crushed them. So much for objective reporting.
