The White Sox announced Tuesday that they have turned down a $13 million option on third baseman Kevin Youkilis, and agreed with righthander Jake Peavy on a $29 million, two-year contract.

Chicago also exercised a $9.5 million option on righthander Gavin Floyd, and declined a $10 million option on righthander Brett Myers.
