Wednesday marked the final day of business for the Bill Rodgers Running Center store in Faneuil Hall marketplace.
Rodgers' store had been in business for 35 years.
The store's walls bore memories of Rodgers' career as a Boston running icon.
The store included a Wall of Gloves, which marked the white painter's gloves that Rodgers used to wear running on chilly days.
Steve Scala of Mansfield was one of the final customers, and he was helped by Charlie Rodgers, Bill's brother, who ran the store.
