The Patriots had their best wire-to-wire effort against the Rams in London, and the trick now will be keeping that momentum through the bye week and into next Sunday’s home game with Buffalo.
Getting healthy may help, and to that end, the Patriots are enjoying some much-needed time for rest and recovery. And since the bye comes at exactly the midway point of the season, it seems only natural to do some first-half superlatives.

Great selection of award winners. That last award could be called the "Talk like a Gronk".
If I was Brady I'd buy Scarnecchia a house! I've never seen a coach like Dante consistently take chicken s#!t and make chicken salad with it. Of course the players deserve credit too but he's got to be the best O line coach in football. Let's hope Belichick can replace Boyer, the legendary defensive coordinator from NAIA powerhouse South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, with someone of equal coaching ability. He seems to be the anti-Scarnecchia - give him reasonably talented players and he'll make them worse. It's amazing how McCourty has regressed under Boyer. A great corner as a rookie but once he got "coached up" he couldn't cover anybody. I wish someone could give Belichick truth serum to see what his thinking is on Boyer.
