Tom Brady named offensive player of the week

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was named the AFC offensive player of the week for his performance against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday in London.

Brady threw for 304 yards and four touchdowns on 23 of 35 passing, leading the Patriots to a 45-7 win. It’s the 22d time Brady has been named AFC offensive player of the week, tying him with Peyton Manning for the most awards.

Brady was also named AFC player of the week in Week 4 for his performance against the Buffalo Bills, a 52-28 win for the Patriots.
