New England roundup: Trinity home run beats Amherst

A 20-point fourth-quarter rally kept Trinity’s incredible home win streak alive — and knocked Amherst out of the NESCAC title race.

Running back Evan Bunker rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns and safety Rae Haynes returned an interception 40 yards for the go-ahead touchdown with 8:55 left to lead the Bantams to a 32-20 victory over the Lord Jeffs at Jessee/Miller Field in Hartford on Saturday.
