Patriots are simply untrustworthy

FOXBOROUGH — If the Patriots were a teenage driver, you wouldn’t let them borrow your car after dark. If they were a money manager, you would make small investments with them (but nothing risky). If they were a doctor, you would accept their treatment plan, but make sure you sought a second opinion.

In other words, you can’t trust them completely.

It would be nice to get a -real- explanation of why the Pats pass defense is so awful. TV refuses to show the whole field, so the viewer never sees the schemes and matchups. BB & Co. refuse to call out any one person, or say anything like, "we can't go man to man because of..." . Meanwhile, there is almost never a pass broken up. The best that happens is a tackle after completion, and even that is shaky. These are pro athletes. If they've made it to the NFL, they have some natural ability. It would seem logical that a person with a higher than average level of athletic ability could be taught to do a certain job. Somebody, somewhere, is not doing something. If the defensive coordinator needs to go, so be it. This team is not going to be playing much in January with this type of execution.

Wilfork: "I’m very proud to go out with this defense and take the field at the end of the game and actually close the game out. That was a big statement." No Vince, a big statement would have been to force them 3-and-out on that last drive, not that let them march down the field (again) and rely on a big play in the end zone to seal the win. I hope big Vince is not happy with that.

And you have to "trust" them because???

djm is 100% correct. If Patricia remains, we go out in early January!
