Former Bruin Stan Jonathan has been charged with criminal negligence in causing the shooting death of a Hamilton, Ontario man while hunting. Jonathan, 57, was deer hunting Nov. 11 when he fired a shot into an area of bush, striking Peter Kosid. Kosid was wearing camouflage and was bow hunting on a friend’s property Jonathan, who played more than 400 games in the NHL from 1976 to 1983, is due to appear in a Brantford, Ontario, court Dec. 14.
