Boston College women’s soccer player Stephanie McCaffrey was suspended by the team for posting incediary tweets involving former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky, according to multiple reports Thursday night.

The Eagles play Friday at Penn State in a NCAA Div. 1 Tournament second-round game. McCaffrey is BC’s second-leading scorer.
