Confrontational style costs DeMarcus Cousins again

With the NBA removing the “5” position from the All-Star ballot, it’s clear the 7-foot post man is going the way of the dinosaurs. The new trend is to get fast, athletic bigs who can run and finish at the hoop and still have a prayer at the defensive end and on the glass. Here are some of the league’s best power forwards, with 2011-12 points per 48 minutes as a center and as a power forward:
