Minnesota Timberwolves guard Brandon Roy will miss at least the next month after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Monday. Roy has had six other operations on his knees. He has missed the last four games and did not practice last week. Roy, 27, retired in December 2011 because of a degenerative condition in his knees, but decided to make a comeback this season, signing a two-year, $10 million contract. . . Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving will miss at least one month with a broken finger. Irving fractured his left index finger on Saturday against Dallas . . . The Charlotte Bobcats announced that forward Tyrus Thomas is expected to miss approximately two months with a torn muscle in his lower left leg. No surgery will be needed. Thomas suffered the injury during Saturday night’s loss to Memphis.
