For at least a day, the Springfield Central football team got the sweet taste of revenge.

After falling to Longmeadow in last season’s Western Mass. Division 1 Super Bowl, the Golden Eagles (12-1) won the rematch, 27-0, Saturday to claim the Division 1 title. It is the school’s first Super Bowl win since 2001.
