It’s a copycat sport. Just look at the trend of two-headed hitting coaches. And the Jurassic Deals (Red Sox-Dodgers, Blue Jays-Marlins) in which big names and big contracts changed hands.
Is there another one of those deals to be made at the annual Winter Meetings, which start Monday in Nashville? There are certainly teams that want and need to make splashes — Kansas City and Boston, to name two.

Nick,
Why all this 'man' love for Swisher? You constantly make him sound like a .315 avg. with 35 HRs and 100 RBIs hitter. Swisher has career averages of .256 avg. with 28 HRs and 90 RBIs. Pretty much JD Drew numbers.
Swisher would not be a difference maker.
