Patriots are still AFC’s team to beat

There are good wins and bad wins. There are bad losses . . . and good losses.

This was a good loss.

It's about Steve Burton.

I felt the same way, I almost turned the game off and go to bed, but something told me these guys can pull this out, because when their backs are against the wall, they know how to pull together and make something special happen. If anything, I think the 49ers and the rest of the league saw a team that has heart and would do anything to win. I still pick the Pat's in the SuperBowl.

Couldn't agree less. This ain't baseball. There are only 16 games, each and every one of them really count. A "good loss" might be something appropriate for a high school team, or Little League, but not the NFL.

If anything, this game puts the fear of God in opposing teams.  Can any team now feel confident in any lead when the Patriots can put up 28 pts so quickly after being dominated?
