GIRLS’ BASKETBALL PREVIEW

Braintree the team to watch in girls’ basketball

It’s a new season for the Wamps, but last year’s goal remains. Braintree is in the hunt for a state girls’ basketball title, the coveted crown it last won in 2006. With a South championship and Garden appearance under their belt, the Wamps have the experience and the determination to win it.

Braintree welcomes back three sophomores who started last season — Molly Reagan, Bridget Hurlihy, and Ashley Russell. Senior captain Rachel Norton, a Bowdoin commit, is also in the starting mix, along with freshman Brianna Hurlihy.
