FOXBOROUGH — The NFL announced the rosters for this year’s Pro Bowl, and seven Patriots were among those chosen for the annual all-star game.
Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Rob Gronkowski, Logan Mankins, Vince Wilfork, Jerod Mayo, and Matthew Slater were recognized for their play this season.

Mankins is definitely a "past performance pick". He's been a shadow of the beast he can be. Not his fault (accumulated injury), but nowhere near a Mankins year. I hope he sits against Miami, Pats somehow get a bye and, in two weeks, the beast is back at his All-Pro level.
