How did Scott Pioli survive?  He hired Todd Haley (bust), fired him and promoted Romeo Crennel (bust), traded a second round pick for Matt Cassell and Mike Vrabel (potential bust plus Vrabel retired), and his draft performance has been atrocious.  I just looked at who the Chiefs have drafted since 2009 and I never heard of any of these guys.  Changing head coaches doesn't help much if you draft badly year after year.  You can't make chicken salad out of chicken feathers.
