Boston College coach Steve Addazio announced Friday that Ben Albert has been named defensive line coach. Albert spent the last two seasons coaching outside linebackers at Temple . . . Pennsylvania state senator Jake Corman is suing the NCAA over its use of the $60 million fine that Penn State is paying due to the Jerry Sandusky scandal. Corman, who filed the suit Friday, said the state gives Penn State so much money every year that ‘‘it would be impossible for the payments to be derived solely from non-commonwealth funds.’’
