NEW YORK (AP) — Hockey is back, and it took nearly four months and one long night to get the game back on the ice.
With the season on the line, the NHL and the players’ association agreed on a tentative pact to end a 113-day lockout and save what was left of a fractured schedule.

To Gary Bettman, Donald Fehr, the owners, and players of the NHL - it is TOO LATE to save the embarassment of losing another season. They already should be VERY embarassed. I was a die hard hockey fan (B's) and I am disgusted with their antics. I have committed (check it out on Facebook) to a group called "just drop it" to boycott a bunch of games (even on TV), not buy merchandise for a good part of the rest of the season, etc. to try to exercise our rights as fans. I love the game of hockey but HATE the people running the NHL. They have REALLY screwed up this time.
Okay let's play hockey. This is about when people start paying attention as the NFL is winding down.
