Bruins release revised 2013 schedule

Rangers will visit Garden for opener Saturday night

The NHL late Saturday night finally released its revised 2012-13 schedule, marking the official end of the lockout, and the Bruins will open the season Saturday at TD Garden, facing old Original Six rival New York at 7 p.m. on Causeway Street.

The schedule, its release delayed until approximately 10:30 p.m. while the league and its Players’ Association lawyered the final collective bargaining agreement documents on Saturday, also has the Bruins in the Garden on Jan. 21, facing the Winnipeg Jets in a Martin Luther King Day matinee (1 p.m.).
