Kenya’s Robert Kiprono Cheruiyot, who won the Boston Marathon in 2010 with a then-record time of 2:05:52, headlines the field of international elite athletes for the 2013 race, event sponsor John Hancock Financial announced Tuesday.

Kenyan Moses Mosop, who won the 2011 Chicago Marathon, and 2010 New York City Marathon champion Gebre Gebremariam of Ethiopia are also entered, along with last year’s Boston runner-up, Levy Matebo of Kenya.
