The seventh-ranked Pentucket girls’ basketball team began the fourth quarter trailing, 35-32, but senior captain Coley Viselli scored nine points in the final frame to propel the unbeaten Sachems past 14th-ranked Ipswich, 45-40, Tuesday night at Pentucket.

Both teams battled back and forth in the third quarter eager to protect their perfect seasons. The Tigers (8-1), clinging to a 3-point lead in the beginning of the fourth quarter, would soon see their lead slip away.
