FOXBOROUGH -- Patriots cornerback Aqib Talib appeared to injure his right hamstring after breaking up a pass intended for Ravens receiver Anquan Boldin in the first quarter.
Talib was seen heading into the locker room with a member of the Patriots medical staff. His return was listed as questionable.
Talib did return to the sidelines a short time later. His helmet was off, but he was testing out his thigh.
The loss of Talib could be a blow to the Patriots’ pass defense. Since coming to New England in a midseason trade, Talib has emerged as one of the team’s best defensive backs and helped solidify a secondary that struggled early.
Patriots safety Patrick Chung was also shaken up when Ray Rice scored the Ravens touchdown. He was being attended to on the sidelines.
Defensive lineman Kyle Love also left the game with a knee injury, and his return was also questionable.
