FOXBOROUGH — There will be plenty of pieces of the blame pie to go around after the Patriots’ sudden, stunning, and dominating 28-13 loss to the Ravens in Sunday night’s AFC Championship game at Gillette Stadium.
Most of it will deservedly go to the offense, which despite having 120 yards of better field position than the Ravens on five drives in the first half, produced just 6 more points and were shut out in the second half.

I think you hit on the two keys for the defense. Vince didn't have the game he had last year, maybe because of the way they played him, and when Talib went out it was the beginning of the end. He was doing a great job on Boldin until he got hurt. Boldin might not have gotten those two touchdowns if Talib had remained in the game. Gregory looked like a rookie when Pitta faked him out on the first touchdown. He's a weak link on that defense. That said, Flacco had a great second half when they put the game in his hands. He outplayed Brady last year and did it again last night (the Ravens defense had a lot to do with that). He's a big time quarterback. The Ravens deserved the win.
Complete lack of toughness, both physically and mentally and that includes coaches.
