Revolution add four to roster from supplemental draft

The Revolution selected University of Connecticut defender Jossimar Sanchez with their first of four selections in Major League Soccer’s four-round supplemental draft Tuesday in New York.

The Revolution also selected Chris Thomas, a forward from Elon University, in the second round; Old Dominion defender Alex De John in the third round; and Elon midfielder Gabe Latigue in the fourth round.

Midfielder Michael Bustamante of Chelsea High and Boston University was selected by New York in the first round, the 13th pick overall. Also, Vancouver took Harvard’s Brian Rogers in the second round and Amherst’s Ale­­jandro Sucre in the fourth round. - JIM HOBAN
