Battling for supremacy in the Catholic Conference, BC High had a chance to avenge an earlier loss to St. John’s Prep Tuesday night but was outhustled down the stretch as No. 2 Prep secured a 57-43 victory in Dorchester.

Despite a few early turnovers, seventh-ranked BC High was able to match the Prep’s scoring as senior guard Charles Collins nailed a 3-pointer to tie the game at 24 at halftime.
