Rehashing Patriots playoff losses has become a rite of winter in New England, like skating on the Frog Pond or territorially claiming parking spaces with household items.
In the wake of the Patriots’ disheartening 28-13 AFC Championship game loss to the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday there has been a search for the common thread that has led to the unraveling of the Patriots’ Super Bowl-or-bust seasons in 2007, 2010, 2011 and this year.

It isn't the ineffectiveness of the running game, it's the fact that they didn't run the ball! Early in the game, when things were going well they ran a little bit better and then they just stopped. Saying they were behind is an excuse because they stopped running well before that. A team that is committed to running the ball is exactly that...committed! Ridley had a really good season. Vereen didn't get the ball enough, as evidenced by his limited performance the last 2 weeks. The simple fact of the matter is whether it is the game plan or the changes Brady makes at the line, they don't run enough.
