Regardless of the outcome of St. John’s Prep’s game against BC High at Ristuccia Arena, Saturday would have been a special day.

The occasion was the fifth annual Derek Hines Memorial Game, honoring the four-year Prep player who was killed in 2005 during a tour of Afghanistan.
