Chad Johnson earned his first NHL shutout in his Phoenix debut and the Coyotes beat the Nashville Predators, 4-0, Monday night in Glendale, Ariz.

Johnson, making his seventh NHL appearance after being called up from Portland of the AHL last week, had 21 saves in a game dominated defensively by a Coyotes team that entered the night giving up an NHL-high 20 goals in five games.
