Randy Moss: ‘I’m the greatest receiver’ ever

In a bombshell from Super Bowl media day, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Randy Moss called himself the greatest wide receiver of all-time on Tuesday.

“I don’t live off numbers,” Moss said, noting he has had down years, including this year, his time in Oakland, and before he briefly retired after the 2010 season. “I live off impact. So I really do think that I’m the greatest receiver to play this game.”

If he only had class and an accompanying respect for the game. . .

Randy is talking out of his hind quarters.  Jerry Rice is the greatest receiver of all time.  What a low life grab for the spotlight on the eve of the Super Bowl!  He ought to be focused on helping his team win, not promoting himself.  But this is consistant with his behavior throughout his career.

What a shame.

If BS was music,

he would be the Boston Pops.

To think I was saying how being out of the game had humbled Randy Moss.  Boy was I wrong!!!

He might have had a shot at "the best ever" title if he was not such a lazy player.  In 2007 he was gang busters until he broke the touch down reception title.  After that he was nowhere to be found.
