School roundup: Brighton rallies past New Mission

The celebration following 13th-ranked Brighton’s come-from-behind victory against No. 10 New Mission on Thursday night was a little anticlimactic.

After trailing by 20 points in the final quarter, junior shooting guard Mark Mojica hit two clutch 3-pointers in the final two minutes to give the Bengals a 57-52 road victory. The only problem, as far as bragging rights go, was that there were no students or parents from either side to witness the unlikely comeback.
