Bill Parcells is voted into Hall of Fame

Former Patriots coach is joined by six others

NEW ORLEANS — Former Patriots coach Bill Parcells, who brought the team to Super Bowl XXXI and won two Lombardi Trophies with the New York Giants, was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Saturday.

Joining Parcells were offensive linemen Larry Allen and Jonathan Ogden, receiver Cris Carter, and defensive tackle Warren Sapp. The Senior Committee selections were defensive tackle Curley Culp and linebacker Dave Robinson.
