Bruins won’t have Daniel Paille, Shawn Thornton

Bruins coach Claude Julien said Tuesday morning that neither Daniel Paille nor Shawn Thornton (concussion) would make the trip to Montreal later in the day.

The Bruins changed their schedule and instead of skating at Ristuccia Arena before leaving for Montreal planned to skate at the Bell Centre on Tuesday afternoon.

No decision has been made on Brad Marchand yet. Marchand, who left Saturday’s game with an injury, was expected to practice with the Bruins, with the decision being made before Wednesday night’s game against the Canadiens.

Ryan Spooner was called up from Providence on Monday on an emergency basis and could be used if needed in Montreal.
