Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling was standing in the clubhouse at Fenway Park early in the 2008 season when a member of the team’s medical staff suggested he try human growth hormone to help overcome a shoulder injury.
“There were a few people around and I was shocked,” Schilling said Thursday. “After this person left, I turned to a teammate and said, ‘Can you believe that?’ It came out of nowhere.”

Curt is just trying to stay relevant after his embarrising bankruptcy. Why now Curt? How come you were silent on this issue when you testified before congess? He is a phony.
This whole steriod thing boggles my mind. We call them PED's, player enhancing drugs. What exactly is that? Is a cup of coffee a PED, or a five hour energy? I feel that my performance is enhanced after taking these products.
How about a cortisone shot before game six of the 2004 ALCS? Last time I checked, cortisone is a steriod. Schilling thinks he is above everybody, and wants to stay that way. Keep his fat face out of the hall, he was ooooook.
