The snowstorm affecting New England has caused the postponement or cancellation of several college athletic events on Saturday for Boston-based schools, with some of them pushed back one day to make for safer transportation.

Harvard moved its men’s hockey game (vs. Dartmouth) and men’s basketball game (at Columbia) to Sunday. The Crimson women’s basketball team moved its Friday home game against Cornell to Saturday at 6 p.m., and Saturday’s originially scheduled home game against Columbia will now tip off Sunday at 4 p.m. The Harvard women’s hockey team will play at home Sunday against Yale (a makeup of Friday’s postponement), and its Saturday game against Brown was rescheduled for Feb. 19.
