1: Is John Farrell the answer as manager?
Farrell (above) is the third manager in as many years, and the Red Sox desperately need him to click with a team that has shown little sense of purpose since the final month of the 2011 season. Farrell was 154-170 in two years managing the Blue Jays, but Sox executives believe he can turn the franchise in the right direction. He built up a reservoir of credibility as pitching coach from 2007-10 and will need ever ounce of it.

I do not think there are 5 questions pertaining to the 2013 RS. The major concern this year is Starting Pitching. The Sox will score runs, play decent defense, should have a deep strong versatile bullpen, but if Lester, Buck, and Lackey fall below expectations then it will be another long hot summer in Res Sox Nation.....I think the bullpen is set-up for the starters to go 5-6 innings, then Morales-Acves, followed by a combination of Miller, Breslow, Bard, followed by Uhera, set-up by Bailey, close with Hanrahan. Seems like the formula here. Weal starting pitching.
