Anyone else notice that it's always the guys that 'have been around guns all their lives' that always shoot themselves. Maybe it would be wise for them not to be around guns. How stupid is it to take chances like this when your worth is in the millions of dollars. You can hunt anytime after your career is over.
This is really not about guns, it's about carelessness. You just don't clean a loaded gun, Period! It is always an "experienced" person that makes that mistake. Very rarely is it someone who respects a weapon. Think! Think! Think! Then think again. Guns are not the problem, it's the people who don't think when they're using, cleaning or handling them. One careless second, or parts thereof, will take a life. They are not going away. Stupidity must go away. Carelessness must go away. These people grew up with guns. Most of them were taught to handle them. They were careless, no more.
How about a baseball column? Anything going on there?
