FORT MYERS, Fla. — Red Sox owner John Henry emerged from his media seclusion on Monday and mocked reports that he planned to sell the team.
“They didn’t turn out to be true,” Henry said during a 25-minute session on a cement patio outside of JetBlue Park. “I’m very happy. … The last 12 years have been the best years of my life. Tom [Werner] and Larry [Lucchino] and I have had a tremendous working relationship. We’ve always been on the same page. It’s fun working with talented people.
