Bobby Valentine writing a book

Former Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine is writing a book that is scheduled to be released in 2014.

The book will include a section on Valentine’s one year as manager in Boston, but will mostly be a book about leadership.

The book will be published by Simon and Schuster and the co-authors are Bob and Brad Lefton.

Since being fired by the Red Sox in October, Valentine has, among other endeavors, accepted a position as a radio host, worked on a new movie that will be released by his film production company, and has been mentioned as a possible candidate for athletic director positions at two colleges.
