Jacoby Ellsbury mum on future with Red Sox

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Jacoby Ellsbury said Thursday he enjoys playing for the Red Sox. As to whether he will stay with the team, that’s a question he would prefer agent Scott Boras answer.

Ellsbury will be a free agent after the coming season, having taken three consecutive one-year contracts since gaining arbitration rights.

No Gonzo it wasn't managements fault that the RS stunk last year. The players play the game. Pitchers could not get anyone out. Batters left to many runners on base,etc...I excuses, excuses, but at the end of games last year the 'other' team was better than the Red Sox players on the field and won. Poor Carl Crawford. $142 million and a city is 'stressing' him out. The tears that I shead when I hear such talk from millionaires playing a game in a great city that loves and supports their team. Glad both are in LA...

Are we going to be filled with Jacoby Ellsbury stories all summer? There are only two scenarios. Is he traded at the deadline or do they keep him all year and let him go and get a draft pick? He's going into free agency and he won't be back. Bring on Jackie Bradley.
