Red Sox still face steep climb in AL East

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Welcome to Camp Low Expectations.

Around every corner there’s a question. Around every issue there’s a multiple answer. Around every positive there’s a negative. Ask anyone about the Red Sox and you get a shrug. What are they? Who are they? What can they be?

It broke my heart to let go of my season tickets in the grandstand. But the performance and the personality (or lack there of) of the team made it easier. I still care about the sox and will be following their progress. But the weekday plan for two grandstand tickets cost 10% of my take home pay. Without knowing that friends and coworkers would end up buying most of the games, I just could not afford to be a season ticket holder anymore.

Can we drop the John Farrell Blue Jays? We know who their manager was and we know you  would rather have Bobby V in the dugout. We get it.

"The Sox could trade some of their acquisitions at midseason and perhaps pick up extra draft picks." really?
