FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The Red Sox had seven pitchers combine on a four-hitter as they opened their exhibition schedule with a 3-0 win over Northeastern on Thursday.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Pedro Ciriaco and Jose Iglesias each drove in a run for the Red Sox in the seven-inning game. The Red Sox had five hits overall.
