Requests for the girls’ version of the Super 8 were answered this year with the inception of the 8 Showcase, an event hosted last week at the Pilgrim Arena in Hingham that matched the state’s top talent. The event showcased primarily Division 1 programs with two-time defending Division 2 state champion Duxbury the one exception.
