The NBA has long been a league of fashion, for better or worse. The Warriors unveiled the league’s newest jerseys last Friday, and let’s hope the short-sleeve look will be short-lived. Here, in one man’s opinion, are some of the best and worst jerseys in league history:
THE BEST
Washington
-
Road jersey
-
2011-present
-
A modification to the old Bullets jerseys, recently revived. An example of simple not equating to boring.
Atlanta
-
Road jersey
-
1995-99
-
Take note, Raptors and Grizzlies: Featuring a big animal doesn’t have to be lame. This jersey has some ferocity.
Denver
-
Home jersey
-
1982-93
-
The Nuggets’ boldness has produced some real stinkers, but this groundbreaking design was a home run.

-
THE WORST
Toronto
-
alternate jersey
-
2012-present
-
At least there were good intentions with these patriotic camouflage eyesores.
Vancouver
-
Road jersey
-
1995-2000
-
A possible reason the Griz lasted only six seasons in Vancouver.
Utah
-
Road jersey
-
1996-2004
-
How the Jazz made two Finals appearances in these atrocities is beyond reason.
