Uncharted waters ahead in NFL free agency

Cris Carter's upcoming enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame is a victory for all wide receivers, who historically have had a difficult time getting elected. Of the 11 wideouts who are Hall-eligible and have more than 800 receptions, Carter, after a six-year wait, will be just the fourth to be immortalized in Canton.
