If the Pats don't sign Welker they are going to make Brady,thousands of fans, including  me very angry!

They should have had Welker wrapped up a long time ago. Who's going to bail them out on third down-Vince Wilfork? Do you seriously think that Brady wasn't thinking of Welker when he signed his discounted contract extension? Belichick is a great coach, but he's not perfect, and this Welker fiasco proves it!

Welker & the Patriots have not been able to agree on a contract for 2 years.  We read that Welker is upset over a variety of things, including what he considers lowball contract offers.  Do you think that the Patriots have already made Welker their last, best offer based on their assessment of him, his age, where he fits in the cap over the next few years?  Do you think that the Patriots worked out the new contract with Brady, just in case, to prepare for life after Wes?  Do you think the Patriots are prepared to use the money it would take to sign Welker to sign several other players?  I don't ecpect him to stay with the Patriots; I'll be pleasantly surprised if he does.
