Game recap:

All done in Toronto. Leafs hold off final six-on-five push. Bruins 1-3-0 on road trip.

18:44 3d period, Leafs 3-2: Bruins within one. Andrew Ference’s point shot appears to deflect off Mark Fraser.

16:52 3d period, Leafs 3-1: Bruins down to three lines. Rich Peverley moves up with Gregory Campbell and Daniel Paille.

7:04 3d period, Leafs 3-1: Carl Gunnarson off for tripping. First PP for Bruins. Much better energy in last five minutes.

2:30 3d period, Leafs 3-1: Patrice Bergeron sets a screen on James Reimer. Dennis Seidenberg takes advantage with a snapper through screen. Anton Khudobin out, Tuukka Rask in.

1:34 3d period, Leafs 3-0: Fourth line punches through for Toronto. Colton Orr starts it with big bump on Dennis Seidenberg. Frazer McLaren all alone in front. Close-range shot off Anton Khudobin’s left pad and in. Tough goal for Bruins to give up. Not their night.

20:00 2d period, Leafs 2-0: Bruins with misleading 20-9 shot advantage. Not getting any sustained pressure on James Reimer. One and done.

10:26 2d period, Leafs 2-0: Milan Lucic turnover. Nikolai Kulemin rings the post at other end. Lucic not giving much.

2:52 2d period, Leafs 2-0: Mikhail Grabovski slips snap shot through Matt Bartkowski screen and past Anton Khudobin. Unless Khudobin missed the release because of the screen, he should stop that shot.

20:00 1st period, Leafs 1-0: Nathan Horton gets a decent chance in final minute. Not a bad first for Bruins, who hold 10-4 shot advantage. Neutral-zone play still a concern.

18:17 1st period, Leafs 1-0: Daniel Paille with net-front chance. Nice dish by Gregory Campbell. James Reimer closes the door.

15:36 1st period, Leafs 1-0: Nice work by David Krejci. Muscles puck off Jake Gardiner. Gets close-range backhand shot on goal. Bruins need more jam like that from his wingmen.

14:41 1st period, Leafs 1-0: Couple good chances for Shawn Thornton and Daniel Paille. James Reimer down and out, but couldn’t get clean shot on goal.

8:00 1st period, Leafs 1-0: Anton Khudobin flashes glove to rob Matt Frattin. Dougie Hamilton helps out by clearing puck off line.

5:00 1st period, Leafs 1-0: Off the draw, Shawn Thornton vs. Colton Orr. Two very tough dudes. Orr delivers bunch of rights early. Looked like Thornton got in a left late.

4:58 1st period, Leafs 1-0: Nazem Kadri gets behind Dennis Seidenberg. Weak play in neutral zone.

4:13 1st period, 0-0: Ice in front of benches already turning to snow. Both teams changing personnel constantly.

0:00 1st period, 0-0: Rich Peverley back in. Should be No. 3 right wing alongside Ryan Spooner. Jordan Caron healthy scratch. Lane MacDermid also out.
