BREAKDOWN: Daniel Nava had two hits and drove in a run as the Sox wrapped up a long stay in Florida with a win. Shane Victorino had a two-run single.


THUMBS UP: Felix Doubront threw five shutout innings in his spring wrap-up. He scattered six hits, walked one and struck out six. After a slow start due to a sore shoulder and poor conditioning, Doubront had a 3.00 ERA in five spring starts. … Righthanded reliever Koji Uehara retired both batters he faced to complete a dominating spring. In 10 appearances, Uehara threw 9.2 scoreless innings. He allowed four hits, walked two and struck out 12.

THUMBS DOWN: Closer Joel Hanrahan allowed a run in the ninth on two hits and walk.

MEDICAL REPORT: Lefthander Franklin Morales threw in the bullpen for the first time since straining how lower back. He did not travel with the team to New York so he can continue working out. “I feel pretty good,” Morales said. “I can get going.” … Outfielder Mitch Maier got in his first game since spraining his left wrist on March 15. Maier is leaded for Triple A Pawtucket.

AROUND THE BASES: Counting the game against Puerto Rico's WBC team, Jon Lester, Clay Buchholz, Ryan Dempster, Doubront and John Lackey had a 2.13 ERA this spring. … Lackey stayed behind and will pitch four innings in a minor league intrasquad game on Sunday morning to finish his work. He will then fly to New York. … The Sox have sold out all 33 Grapefruit League games played at Jet Blue Park since the facility opened last season.

NEXT GAME: Opening Day is Monday in New York against the Yankees at 1:05 p.m. The Red Sox will start Jon Lester against CC Sabathia. The Red Sox have a voluntary workout (per the rules of the collective bargaining agreement) at Yankee Stadium on Sunday.
